The big stories this week here locally in the Lonsdale Avenue corridor of North Vancouver are of course the closing of the Two Lions Pub a few days ago due to ongoing issues with increasing operational costs and the other news you should know about is the opening of Lonsdale Tasting Room. Which looks to be either an eatery attached to a micro brewery, or an eatery that serves locally made craft beer. It’s great to see the ongoing evolution of Lonsdale and how the food and entertainment scene is really condensing down at the waterfront Shipyards District. We even heard that a Cactus Club Cafe might be opening in Lower Lonsdale some day soon. Sweet!
