The Green Moustache Organic Cafe in Lower Lonsdale invites you to their build-up-to-the-holidays “November Holiday Pop-Up Series.”
This year we believe it is more important than ever to shop local for your gifting needs. In a year where small business owners have struggled the most, we want to urge you to skip ordering all your gifts from big distributors, and instead make the switch to supporting local small businesses instead. That’s why we are hosting four different incredible small businesses to do a pop-up sale of their work at our cafe. Better yet, each of these businesses are woman-owned! This is your opportunity to get your holiday shopping done early, just head over to the cafe each Saturday of November to see a different local business display their work.
On November 7th we’ll be joined by YKACollective. Founded in Kamloops BC, YKACollective is a group of young artists and makers, who specializes in handmade scrunchies, scrunchie stands, gorgeous prints, totes, and quirky covid-themed Christmas cards!
On November 14th we’ll be joined by MonkeyLoveCreations, founded in North Vancouver, this business started with greeting cards, but now she makes the softest crochet toques and amigurumi. Perfect for your little ones or your little-at-heart big ones!
On November 21st we’ll be joined by Dom+Max Canada, founded in White Rock BC, this family-owned business specializes in handmade vegan candles and soaps. They have also been making the most amazing, comfortable, adjustable masks in a variety of prints and colours!
On November 28th, we’ll be joined by Home & Harvest by Heather. Founded in North Vancouver, Heather works tirelessly creating stunning floral arrangements each season. She will be bringing the most beautiful holiday wreaths and arrangements to sell!
The event will run from 12pm-3pm each Saturday. So mark it in your calendar! Come down to the cafe to grab some breakfast or some juices and smoothies, then get your holiday shopping done while supporting one of these amazing small businesses. It’s a win-win-win! We can’t wait to see you!
