For people who are building a new home on a lot on the North Shore, what are some initially suggested considerations for landscaping?
Whether it is your forever home or investment property, having that clean slate is the best time and opportunity to create an amazing outdoor space to compliment your new home. The most important for building a new home on the north shore, with the terrain we have, is to ensure good slope stabilization and drainage. Don’t leave that old retaining wall! Remember it is what retains your most valued investment.

We offer custom landscape design plus full landscaping installations, with a dedicated and experienced crew with certified project managers on staff to ensure your project runs smoothly, on-time and on budget. Some of our services include:

What are all of the materials that people can buy from your landscaping supply yard?
We sell a wide variety of soil and aggregates for soils:
- Top soil or “Turf Blend” typically used for your lawn installation or for top dressing your lawn, improves soil and promotes growth
- Garden Blend for planting or maintaining your existing garden to enrich your garden or flower beds
- Composted aged mulch gives your garden that clean look while being great for water retention and to give nutrients that are constantly leached into the soil below
For aggregates we offer:
- 3/4″ clear crush, ideal for drainage
- 9mm clear crush, great for pathways and a variety of landscape installations
- 3/4″ roadbase, ideal for sub base applications under driveways, paver patios, structural backfill
- Sechelt sand, for setting paving stones, mixing concrete, backfill around service pipes
We also remove and take away green waste, yard trimmings from maintaining your property, plus fill and dirt you have excavated from your yard during the installation and upgrade process.
What are current trends this year for landscaping and yard design with local homes on the North Shore?
With covid, we have seen a lot of homeowners wanting to create exceptional outdoor living spaces to enjoy and relax. Some trends we have seen and been installing are full landscape installations including custom patios with fireplaces and lighting to set the mood to an increasing request for water features and swim ponds with elegant planting and lighting to showcase.
