The weather is ending up quite cold this week compared to the last few, but at least the sun is starting to stick out more. As a result, Lonsdale Avenue is becoming busier with increased foot traffic from people getting out exercising, shopping, and leaning into patio season.
This time of year the climate is strange on the North Shore, with snow on the mountains, mixed flurries and slush through Upper Lonsdale and into Central Lonsdale. Then raining and broken clouds as you approach the Quay. It may be news to you but the North Shore has 3 distinct micro climates that exist all year round in different cycles. Makes for a variable lifestyle.
