When it comes to your sports, fitness, health, and wellness for the most part a holistic approach that includes a structured program with everything considered is usually the best approach. As the human body is a mix of different systems that work together to create your whole being. You can of course go to a gym and workout, but you might be missing your recovery needs, diet, supplementation, stretching and any form of rehabilitation.
This is where Qubecore Sports and Rehab really shines. Lets say you are a golfer and want to expand your game and get better. You will want to focus on a unique program for you that includes the sport itself, but also rest, recovery, and complimentary strength movements. If you are not careful, you might actually be doing fitness that compromises your potential versus benefits it. This also transfers into sports like Tennis, Soccer, Running, Mountain Biking, Skiing, and many others.

How did you get started with Qubecore and why did you pick North Vancouver?
QubeCore has always been a dream to bring the highest quality of patient-care to the North Shore by providing patients with a true sense of multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Soroush Khoshroo opened QubeCore after having worked in North Vancouver for over 7 years. He wanted to expand services to his patients to maximize their therapeutic benefits by combining his chiropractic profession with other health providers.
What are the main products and services that you offer clients?
We are a multidisciplinary clinic that offers a variety of rehab services to patients with sports injuries, injuries from motor vehicle accidents and more, including:
- Chiropractic
- Physiotherapy
- Massage Therapy
- Clinical Pilates
- Acupuncture
- Kinesiology
- Custom Orthodics
- Dietetics
- Shockwave Therapy
- Pediatric Sports Medicine
Do you work with elite level athletes and performance sports people?
Yes, we do. We have many patients that are involved in elite level sports including soccer, tennis, running, kickboxing, and many others. We also host many evening training camps for local sports leagues.
What are some of the first questions that potential clients ask you?
Our most asked questions include:
- How many practitioners do we have per service
- Do we direct bill to private insurance
- How many years of experience do our practitioners have in their field
- Do we support ICBC claims
What does the client intake process look like for you?
Typically we would get clients referred over to us from physicians / specialists, other clinics or even through our existing client base. Once a client does an initial assessment with one of our professionals, they may also get referred internally within our team of practitioners. Most of our clients do more than one service during the course of their rehabilitation. Having this integrated approach is all the more effective in their goals.
In your spare time outside of running the business, what activities do you get up to?
Many of our practitioners are involved in the community with different health and wellness events or programs. We have a few high-level soccer players employed with us. We try to arrange monthly staff outings which usually include hiking or going out for food and drinks. Many practitioners go to conferences and clinics within the sports and rehab community.
Lastly, is there anything else you might want our readers to know?
Not only do we help athletes prevent and recover from injuries, but we also help a lot of clients suffering from motor vehicle accident injuries and have claims with ICBC. There are not a lot of integrated facilities out there that offer direct billing to ICBC or even to private insurance. You don’t have to be an athlete to visit us at QubeCore. We are here to treat anyone who needs any type of rehab, from children to seniors. We even offer a seniors discount for initial assessments.
