Are you looking for something fun to do when the weather turns rainy and the days get dark early in the evening? Indoor bowling is coming to Central Lonsdale North Vancouver with the arrival of King Pins Bowling Alley in the basement floors of the Centreview building by Onni. Located right beside Whole Foods and having plenty of underground parking as well as access to tons of buses in the area. The space is 7,884 sq ft and has 10 pin bowling lanes as well as a world-class pool hall along with a unique 12 foot snooker table.
The project is being designed and executed by Lower Lonsdale’s very own M+ Architecture and it looks like it’s going to be excellent fun. With 6 bowling lanes, 5 pool tables, various other table games and what looks like a pub restaurant layout. Lets hope they serve great local craft beer and wines from British Columbia. The project has even had an official press release sent out recently which is a good sign that it will be completed shortly.
Central Lonsdale is fast becoming the core of North Vancouver in terms of the culinary scene but also culturally with all of the mom and pop shops. The neighbourhood is easily walked and biked and is very safe. This venue is also called Kingpins Socialhouse and was founded by a father and son team who moved here from Iran. When you visit this venue you will find interactive augmented reality graffiti on the walls to add to the ambience.
Bowling alley and pool hall is located at 1312 Lonsdale Avenue
