You’re invited to the Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School Virtual Best of Me Gala, an event that will open the doors to education for students with learning differences such as autism, ADHD, anxiety and dyslexia.
Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School is a non-profit centre of education that supports K-12 students with learning differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and anxiety. We offer our students daily one-on-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring, the lowest student to teacher ratio in the province, small class sizes and a social-emotional learning curriculum.
Statistics show that students with learning challenges, who do not receive the support they need, have a higher risk of dropping out of school, adult suicide and homelessness. During these uncertain times, our community of students and their families are in need of support now more than ever before, and our goal is to raise $200,000 to go towards the KGMS Bursary Fund. Please join us, and help us ensure that all students who are struggling with their education continue to have access to our specialized program.
We would like to invite our North Vancouver community to join us on May 1st, learn more about what we do, and enjoy a night of student performances, a silent and live auction, surprise guest speakers, and much more, all from the comfort of your own home!
All you have to do is log on May 1st at 7:30pm and enjoy an event that will open the doors to education for so many deserving kids.
Our silent auction will also be available prior to the event to begin bidding.
