If you are into fashion and you live near or walk through Lower Lonsdale North Vancouver chances are you have seen the Double the Love Clothing mobile boutique trailer sitting in front of Lonsdale Quay. The business has been very successful and the community really seems to love what they are doing.
Double the Love Clothing recently submitted for approval to the City of North Vancouver to have a more permanent location during winter months near Obsession Bikes on Lonsdale Avenue. The City has granted them unanimous approval (PDF) and Mayor Linda Buchanan even supports their use of Instagram for marketing. As it brings additional vibrancy to the corridor.
Founders of Double the Love Clothing Zofia Rodriguez and April Robb went to Capilano University together. Making them local entrepreneurs.
The hot pink mobile boutique is becoming a pillar of the Lower Lonsdale shopping scene and we love what they are doing bringing energy into the community and challenging traditional forms of brick and mortar commerce.
Time will tell how things will pan out in terms of the ultimate location(s) for the clothing boutique but we can see them having a permanent location in Lower Lonsdale to serve the trendy and fun community of shoppers. Go Lolo!
