Come and celebrate the Day of the Dead with new friends and members of the Lonsdale Avenue community at Tequila Cocina in Central Lonsdale. Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos is a world heritage celebration for the people of Mexico and recognized by UNESCO.
Ven y celebra el Día de los Muertos con nuevos amigos y miembros de la comunidad de Lonsdale Avenue en Tequila Cocina en Central Lonsdale. El Día de Muertos o Dia de los Muertos es una celebración del patrimonio mundial para el pueblo de México y reconocida por la UNESCO.
There will be face painting, drink specials, a buffet dinner, and a fun welcoming atmosphere, as well as a photo wall where you can have your picture taken in your face paint and costume if you decide to wear one. These photos from the party will be shared across our social media and the profiles for Tequila Cocina. So dress up and have some fun with us!

The Day of the Dead is traditionally celebrated in Mexico during the first 2 days of November each year, giving respect and honour to those loved ones who have passed away and celebrating their lives and memories while supporting their spiritual journey in the after life. It is believed that the dead come alive during this time in the traditional Mexican culture.
El Día de los Muertos se celebra tradicionalmente en México durante los primeros 2 días de noviembre de cada año, dando respeto y honor a aquellos seres queridos que fallecieron y celebrando sus vidas y recuerdos mientras apoya su viaje espiritual en la otra vida. Se cree que los muertos cobran vida durante este tiempo en la cultura tradicional mexicana.

Date/Time: November 2nd from 6-10pm (open later for business as usual)
Buffet Dinner: $20 for all you can eat Mexican cuisine
Drink Specials: 1 Mexican Beer and 1 Tequila shot for $10
