When it comes to outdoor activities and enjoying nature, you can’t really beat Lonsdale Avenue in terms of the access to the North Shore mountains and of course up the coast on Highway 1 to Squamish and many other awesome places that are ready for you to explore.
On top of this Lonsdale has amazing parks and places for you to sit on a bench and read a book or play chess with your neighbours in the community.
If you walk from the waterfront in Lower Lonsdale, up through Central Lonsdale and into Upper Lonsdale you will pass a number of parks along the way.

Rey Sargent Park – located at 2151 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver
Crickmay Park – located at 23rd and Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver
Norseman Park – located at 23rd St E, North Vancouver
Carisbrooke Park – located at Osborne and Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver
Rockland Park – located at the very top of Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver
Lower Lonsdale Community Garden – St Georges Ave, North Vancouver
There are many other parks located throughout North Vancouver within walking distance of Lonsdale but these are the parks above that are either on Lonsdale or only moments walking distance from it.
