Kinton Ramen, a beloved Toronto-based Japanese ramen restaurant, is opening its second Vancouver location in the vibrant Lonsdale neighborhood at the end of this month. This restaurant chain, founded in 2012 by the Kinka Family, has earned critical acclaim for its chef-driven Japanese ramen dishes, and it currently operates in more than 20 locations across Canada and the U.S. According to Kinka Family Founder and CEO James Kim, the new Lonsdale location will offer North Vancouver residents a unique take on West Coast ramen and will serve people happiness by introducing them to the full Kinton Ramen experience.

Not only that, but Kinton Ramen will open a third location in Surrey later this spring, at 13639 George Junction. The menu at the Lonsdale location will feature a range of hearty ramen bowls prepared with slow-cooked pork or chicken broth in five distinct styles: Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic, and Spicy Jalapeño. Vegetarians can choose from four different bowls featuring a plant-based broth in Original, Veg Shoyu, Veg Miso, and Veg Spicy varieties.

Each bowl of ramen is served with a choice of thick, thin, or shirataki-style noodles, topped off with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, jalapeno paste, nori, and sweet corn. Customers can also order a mix of sides, including kimchi, karaage, takoyaki, gyoza, and donburi to complement their ramen experience.

Kinton Ramen’s new Lonsdale location will officially open its doors on Sunday, March 19th, and for opening day only, they will offer 50% off their signature pork, chicken, and vegetarian ramen in original, miso, shoyu, and spicy broths. Customers can take advantage of the tasty deal by visiting the Lonsdale location between 11 am and 9 pm to welcome the newest member of the Kinton family.

The new Lonsdale location, Kinton Ramen North Vancouver, is conveniently located at 1325 Lonsdale Ave, Unit 105, in the heart of the innovative city. Established in May 2012, Kinton Ramen was one of Toronto’s first Japanese ramen restaurants, led by Executive Chef Aki Urata and his team of professional ramen chefs. The restaurant strives to offer customers an extraordinary dining experience by serving them happiness with every order. Using only the freshest ingredients to make the best quality noodles and broths, Kinton Ramen invites customers to enjoy their exceptional ramen bowls right down to the last drop!

Since its inception, Kinton Ramen has grown not only in locations but also in offerings. What started as solely pork ramen bowls has evolved into a wide variety of offerings, including chicken, karaage, and an entire range of vegetarian ramen options. The restaurant also offers limited-edition and seasonal specials in addition to fan favorites like Gyoza, Takoyaki, and Sapporo beer, which pair perfectly with ramen year-round. As Kinton Ramen constantly evolves, they will always maintain their customer-centric focus of serving happiness and ensuring customers slurp their ramen bowls right down to the last drop!
