With the recreational legalization of Cannabis here in Canada all of the towns, cities, and provinces of the country have been implementing new framework to ensure the correct rollout of Cannabis Retail Stores in their areas.

This is also the case in North Vancouver who recently announced that later this year Cannabis Dispensaries will be opening on the North Shore. One of them being in Lower Lonsdale walking distance to The Shipyards and Lonsdale Quay. Soon thereafter more of them will be opening across the District and predominantly in Central Lonsdale.

For decades Cannabis has been a multi-billion dollar industry in British Columbia right up there with forestry, fisheries, and tourism so it is nice to see things becoming formalized in a way that empowers communities while keeping youth and kids safe.

Marijuana Dispensaries recently opened or opening soon:

BC Cannabis Store – 333 Brooksbank Avenue

1st Cannabis – 223 West 1st Street

Lonsdale Cannabis – 1433 Lonsdale Avenue

Cannabis Boutique – 1520 Lonsdale Avenue

420 Herb Garden – 142 East Second Street

Quantum 1 Cannabis – 820 Marine Drive

Kiaro Cannabis – 1560 Main Street

North Shore Cannabis – 1520 Barrow Street

If you are a medical weed user then of course you have different laws that apply to your specific situation and needs, which would be disclosed to you through your medical doctor and prescription.

Many people on the North Shore enjoy pot as part of a healthy lifestyle augmenting their Grouse Mountain hiking, Capilano Bridge park experience, or simply enjoying a puff of herb with friends overlooking a beautiful view of Burrard Inlet.
